Mullarkeys Direct Ltd terms and conditions comply with UK legislation, including the Distance Selling legislation. The prices shown on this website are generally compared with recommended retail prices provided by the suppliers. Prices are subject to alteration without notice due to the possible fluctuations in manufacturing costs, VAT or international exchange rates etc. Should any price increase occur you will be notified wherever possible. We strive to give you the best service available. However if you do find the same item cheaper elsewhere we will try our utmost to match the price.

Paying by cheque:

When Paying by cheque please allow 14 - 21 days for the cheque to clear and order to be dispatched

Alternatives and Availability:

Mullarkeys Direct Ltd will try to avoid any disappointment, on occasions where listed goods are not available, by offering items of similar value or better specification and value to your original choice.

We endeavour to ensure product availability wherever possible, all products and services are subject to availability and maybe withdrawn at anytime without prior notice. If an item is out of stock we will back order this for you, unless advised otherwise. You will be informed, or advised on your invoice upon delivery.

Mullarkeys Direct Ltd are not responsible for compensating you for any unforeseeable losses you may suffer in relation to goods ordered and if goods are not supplied, deemed faulty, damaged in transit or delayed.

Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.

Tax Charges:

All prices on this website include VAT, for orders made from the UK or the European Union; this is charged at 20%.

Weights and Measurements:

All sizes and measurements are approximate, but Mullarkeys Direct Ltd aim to be as accurate as possible. Construction details can also be at variance to specifications if manufacturers modify or improve any article during its lifetime.

Unsuitable Goods:

You have the right to cancel your order with us, in accordance with Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000. The period in which you have to exercise that right, by law is 7 days, however Mullarkeys Direct Ltd do allow 28 days beginning after your goods are received. The unused goods, as sold including any offer/free item(s) received in conjunction with the returned item(s) must be returned, at the customer’s expense, in the original packaging within the 28 days of notice to cancel. We reserve the right to have the goods inspected by a technician prior to replacement or refund. The above compliments your statutory rights, which remain unaffected.

Damaged Goods:

In the unlikely event your order is damaged in transit you must sign for the parcel as damaged and please contact us immediately on 01283 566777. Please retain the original package for returning your order. Our couriers will arrange a time suited with you to come and inspect and collect the parcel. We will arrange for a prompt replacement or refund, whichever is your preference.

Faulty Goods:

If you suspect a fault with your product please call us on 01283 566777, you will be advised the best method for dealing with your problem.

All products on this website are guaranteed against manufacturing defects for twelve months from the date of purchase, this does not apply to faults caused by accident, neglect or misuse.

Manufacturers Defect Found:

• The item(s) will be repaired, replaced or the value of returned item(s) refunded at your discretion.
• If the item(s) are discontinued we will offer a replacement of equal or better specification.

Returns Policy:

If the item(s) are to be returned please contact Mullarkeys Direct Ltd on: 01283 566777 Mon-Fri 9.30am – 5pm, you will be advised the best method of return. Please ensure that the items are in original or secure packaging, where necessary please state the fault. Enclose proof of purchase i.e. Invoice/Receipt along with your full personal details.

Return by standard post (if the item has found to have a manufacturing defect this will be refunded/credited). Obtain a certificate of posting from your post office or courier, regretfully we cannot be held responsible for goods whilst in transit.

Mullarkeys Direct Ltd agrees to supply and you agree to purchase goods subject to these terms and conditions, which shall supercede any terms and conditions on any purchase order or document that you submit to Mullarkeys Direct Ltd.

These terms and conditions supercede and take precedence over any previous terms and conditions. All goods remain property of Mullarkeys Direct Ltd until full payment has been received. These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales and each party agrees to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Please note that we practice a policy of continual review and reserve the right to change the above terms and conditions at any time without notice.

Why recycle?

Unwanted electrical equipment is the UKs fastest growing type of waste.
Many electrical items can be repaired or recycled, saving natural resources and the environment. If you do not recycle, electrical equipment will end up in landfill where hazardous substances will leak out and cause soil and water contamination – harming wildlife and also human health.

To remind you that old electrical equipment can be recycled, it is now marked with a crossed-out wheeled bin symbol. Please do not throw any electrical equipment (including those marked with the crossed out wheeled bin symbol) in your bin.

We can help

We are pleased to offer our customers the chance to recycle their old electrical items.

If purchased through our retail premises bring in your old item to one of the staff and they will sort from there. If purchased either online or through our mail order department then simply send back your old electical or electronic equipment (WEEE) at your cost, with proof of purchase of your new item within 28 days to:

What is WEEE?

The Waste Electrical or Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive requires countries to maximise separate collection and environmentally friendly processing of these items. In the UK, distributors (including retailers) must provide a system which allows all customers buying new electrical equipment the opportunity to recycle their old items free of charge. Those establishing their own take-back scheme must as a minimum offer all customers buying new electrical equipment free take back of their old electricals on a like-for-like basis.
